Austria
In 2017 we went to Austria and had the time of our lives!
We kicked off our adventure with training weekends in Inverurie and Edinburgh.
Flying out of Aberdeen to Germnay for the night then traveled by train to Austria. From here we went to Zelhof by bus. Greeted by some local Scouts who were just leaving – so we gotto chat to them about Austrian Scouting!
Zelhof was amazing. Everyone loved swimming in the lake on site and exploring the massive house we were staying in. We visited Hitlers castle up in the Alps, went under ground to see salt mines and out on a lake in little boats. A day at a castle, the gardens from Sound of Music and the Red Bull museum rounded off out incredible European adventure.

The summer of 2017 saw us hit up the Auchengillan Jamboree – and it was amazing!
A week of adventure with Scouts from all around the country – and world- with the freedom to explore the site and the local area. Everynight was a massive party – so we made loads of new friends!
